Summary/Abstract: This article aims to address a fundamental theme in biblical theology of the New Testament which is “love” or Christian love. From the pages of Holy Scripture we learn that “God is love” (1 John 4, 8), and human, His creature, is called to perfect himself through love and thus to resemble His Creator, because this virtue accompanies man in all eternity, because “love never fails” (1 Cor. 13, 8). If the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John is nicknamed the “Apostle of love”, because in his preaching put special emphasis on living the virtue of love in the lives of Christians, The Apostle Paul insists no less on its acquisition by those who belong to Christ. That is why he composes a true hymn of love and its goods, found in his first epistle to Corinthians, chapter 13. In what follows I want to approach this theme from perspective Pauline, bearing in mind the mentioned text.
