Summary/Abstract: Traditional understanding and practice point to a very widespread criminogenic dimension of men's violence against women. Considerable attention is paid to this problem through theoretical, practical and other activities, although significant results in terms of its reduction are not seen. Within the overall overview of the problem of violence, in this paper the attention of the research and analysis will be focused on the violence of "women against men". There are few researches and works on this topic, which is why it is inspiring, intriguing, but also important to shed light on this phenomenon. All the more so, because in the unofficial environment, the presence of this type of violence, which is in a kind of "dark field", stands out. It is especially important to investigate the etiological, criminological, and victimological aspects of this violence, with an emphasis on the causality of violence in "both directions". The paper will present available statistical data in the region and the world, and concrete examples will be given.
