Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present the development of the curriculum, or the plan and program of teaching of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of Belgrade university from the start of the lectures at this faculty (1920) until 2023. The paper is a result of a research conducted in the archives of the same faculty, and it represents a desire to give a contribution to the commemoration of centenary of this highest educational institution of the Serbian Orthodox Church. After the initial attempt to “enrich” the curriculum with the subjects from other scientifical fields, already in the Regulation of 1923 a corpus of subjects was established which, mutatis mutandis,is present nowadays. The backbone of the curriculum represent Biblical studies, Liturgics, Church History, Patrology, Systematic Theology, Canon Law, Christian Sociology, Pastoral Theology, Homiletics, Philosophy and Biblical-Patristic Philology. All the subjects that have appeared in the teaching plan during the one-century long history of Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade represent variations of these scientific fields or thematize some of their concrete questions.
