Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the author examines the relationship between Greek cosmology and the early Christian worldview. The first part of the paper is devoted to the basic assumptions of Middle Platonism, the direct thought context of biblical and early Christian kthysiology, as well as the cosmological discourse of Philo of Alexandria, a person in whom Greek cosmology and the new nascent kthysiology meet. On those grounds, the second part of the work begins with an analysis of the upcoming Christian ctisiology, the Christian world view, starting, first of all, from the biblical premises of this perspective. The further flow of the work is directed towards more precise kthysiological formulations in the theological works of apologists, specifically, Athenagoras of Athens, Tatian of Assyria, Theophilus of Alexandria and Justin the Philosopher. The analysis of their works will open up the question of the essential definition of early Christian kthysiology, the perspective of creatio ex nihilo. On those grounds, reception and critical evaluation can provide an adequate context and framework for a permanent interest in the issue of world creation in the XXI century.
