Summary/Abstract: For companies to continue being competitive, generating value in each aspect of products or services is needed. The objective of this work is to determine the influence of the emotional intelligence of sales force employees on the job performance, within a service company located in the city of Veracruz in Mexico. The research is developed from a quantitative approach, with a non-probabilistic convenience and cross-sectional sampling method, in which 50 workers participated. To analyze the data, a linear regression was performed. The results obtained show that motivation and social skills affect worker performance.
