Summary/Abstract: The insurance contract belongs to contracts that are significan, as one of the most important contracts for legal transactions. The Insurance Act sets out the rules on the obligation of the insurer to pre-contract informing the contractor. As insurance represents one of the most complex areas, in order to achieve the goal of introducing into the law of this provision, it is necessary to specify the circumstances that the insurer is obliged to inform the insurance contractor. In accordance with the current trends in European Union law, in addition to analyzing certain issues related to the problem of informing the insurance contractor, attention has been paid to the issues of the contents of the notice before concluding the insurance contract. Therefore, in the paper, first, a brief overview of the preemptive notification in EU law is given. Then, in the context of the insurance contract, pre-contractual information is analyzed in national law. The author aims to present sources of law, regarding the notification of insurance contractors in consumer contracts, insurance contracts. It starts from the normative complex with the specifics and characteristics of this topic.
