Summary/Abstract: Home is not only matter, it is also a symbol, a spiritual dimension. Home is associated with memory, remembrance and recollections. To write about it, especially if it is a family home, one needs to use autoethnography. Because the concept of home is closely related to emotions, experiences, and exposures. Even though home can be left, its context remains with a person forever. "Dasein" changes, there-being takes on new meanings, moving from one place to another generates certain existential anxiety, but usually it is aimed at "better being". The house building was often erected with the efforts and financial outlays of family members. This often resulted in a sense of deficiency and unfulfilled needs, i.e., participation in social life, and entertainment events. This gave rise to a certain ambivalence in the perception of home. It was a source of community practices and, at the same time, of unspecified suffering. Home is one’s first world, a sacred space where liminal events occur. Home is compared to the Cosmos, and the individual floors are analogous to the cosmic spheres. The symbolism of home is very extensive.
