Summary/Abstract: As part of the Erasmus+ program, four bachelor’s students of Special Education had the opportunity to participate in a two-month internship during the summer semester of 2023/2024 in Castelnuovo del Garda, Verona, Italy. The internship took place at the Scuola Dell’infanzia XI Aprile 1848, a preschool with a progressive approach to inclusive and multisensory education. The school features three specialized Snoezelen rooms and integrates multisensory tools into daily learning. The students observed and participated in pedagogical interventions with children with various special needs, mainly autism spectrum disorders. Each child received individualized support from rotating assistants and teachers, fostering adaptability and inclusion. The experience enriched the students both professionally and personally, offering a new perspective on inclusive preschool education and providing a model of cooperation, flexibility, and pedagogical innovation.
