Summary/Abstract: The article brings one of the most serious topics from the cultural life. The most visible is the written form of nicknames or pseudonyms in journalism and literature. It points at different reasons of their origin and inserting the users of changed names. The result is to show the positives and negatives of using nick names in journalist´s practice and also show the consequences of using them. The material assigns a possible but difficult starting point.
