Summary/Abstract: The war in Ukraine, which started on February 24, 2022, caused a seriousrefugee crisis on the south-eastern border of the European Union, mostlyin Poland. The mass inflow of war refugees from Ukraine caused the emer-gence of new security threats and tasks for the police of the SubcarpathianVoivodeship. These were security challenges related to the need to ensurethe safety of refugees, as well as threats to the security of Poland and theEuropean Union. In addition, the Police carried out its statutory obligationsto ensure order and security. The aim of the article is to analyze the elementsof the developed and adopted management model for the implementationof the tasks of the Subcarpathian Police in the context of new risks andsecurity threats resulting from the war in Ukraine in 2022, as well as theimplementation of the statutory tasks of the Police in the field of main-taining public safety and order
