Summary/Abstract: Today, digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI) are profoundly impacting working practices, bringing both opportunities and challenges to the modern workforce. Technological advances, particularly in the fields of digitalization and AI, are radically changing work structures, increasing the complexity of tasks and reshaping the skills that employees need. The research we conducted focuses on young people’s perceptions of the impact of digitalization and AI on modern work practice. The main objective of the research was to understand how young people perceive the changes that digitalization and AI bring to workers and employers. The research was conducted through an online survey with 389 respondents, among young people aged between 18 and 30. The main findings of the survey show mixed feelings among young people. On the one hand, they recognize the positive aspects of digitalization and AI, such as increased flexibility at work and the creation of new jobs requiring digital skills. In fact, the majority of respondents felt that digitalization allows for more flexible working conditions and agreed that these technologies create new jobs. On the other hand, young people are also aware of the risks of digitalization, especially in terms of increased employer control and blurring of work-life boundaries. In fact, the majority of respondents expressed concern that digitalization and AI are blurring the boundaries between work and private life, which can lead to burnout and Today, digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI) are profoundly impacting working practices, bringing both opportunities and challenges to the modern workforce.
