Economic effects of Ukrainians’ migration to Poland

Summary/Abstract: The outbreak of the war in Ukraine has led to an increase in the migration of Ukrain-ian citizens to Poland, making Poland one of the primary destination countries for Ukrainian labormigrants. This article presents a detailed analysis of the economic impacts of this migration, withparticular emphasis on its effects on Ukraine’s economy. One of the key aspects examined is thegrowing flow of personal remittances sent by Ukrainian migrants back to their home country. Theaim of this article is to assess the economic consequences of these migrations and analyze theirimpact on Ukraine’s economy. Additionally, a comparison of financial transfers through officialand unofficial channels is conducted. The article also calculates the multiplier effect of remittancesfrom Poland on the Ukrainian economy
