Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the issue of making a cut slope on the highway of the corridor Vc section: Vranduk-Ponirak. The terrain on this section is characterized by a complex structural and tectonic composition. Flysch sediments, which are represented by carbonates and clastic that are very folded, participate in the structure of the terrain. The total height of the slope is approximately 67.0 m and it is planned to build six scarps and five berms. Highly disturbed rock masses are present in both edges of the cut slopes (Boreholes NB5-4 and NB5- 5), while better rock masses are found close to the center of the road cut. However, in these better quality rock masses there is evidence of fractured rock and in some cases of shear zones with clayey soft material of limited (1-2 m) or wider thickness (3-6 m). Slope stability analysis was performed on the central profile where we have the largest slope geometry. Numerical analyzes were performed using the order of construction and installation of support measures in phases.
