CONTEMPORARY ECOLOGICAL PROBLEMS IN THE FOCUS OF MASS MEDIA COMMUNICATION

Summary/Abstract: Man's communication with nature, that is, his necessity of coexistence with it, is, in fact, a continuous process, which has occupied the attention of world scientists since the time of ancient thinkers. Today, more than ever, this issue is central to the work of scientists in numerous social studies, where topics about changing the conditions of the communication process and decision-making in the field of environmental protection were mostly in the forefront. On the other hand, there is very little research on man as the primary communicator and actor of coexistence with the natural environment, but also as the only entity responsible for all environmental disasters facing the modern world. Changes that are happening faster and faster in nature, indirectly and directly affect man, his culture and everything he has created for centuries. Because of all this, the ecological crisis of the planet Earth, as man's only habitat, cannot and must not be isolated from man and his interest, and especially not outside his intercommunication focus.
