Summary/Abstract: In contemporary political communication, the effective cultivation of a political leader’s public image has become an essential aspect of electoral success and governance. Among the various strategies available, the use of strategic feature stories stands out as a particularly influential tool. Feature stories, characterized by their narrative depth and humanizing elements, offer a means of framing political leaders not only in terms of their policy positions but also through the lens of personal experiences, values, and leadership qualities. By crafting compelling, well-placed feature articles in the media, political leaders can shape the public’s perception, fostering an emotional connection with constituents and enhancing their credibility and relatability.
