Summary/Abstract: The goal of the paper is the practical application of digital channels to the development of the stock market and banking business segment. Impact Blockchain, which is a database of digital transaction information, represents a major step forward in digital technologies. The introduction of mobile phones contributed to the development of mobile applications. Following the above, clients are enabled to apply for banking products and to trade securities on the stock exchange. These mobile applications provide flexibility, without time limits and geographical barriers. Digital transformation represents a change in the business model and adaptation to new trends in technology. It has influenced the challenges of harmonization of the legislation of the countries of the European Union. It encourages the development of more effective risk management strategies. Digital distribution channels in banks and stock exchanges reduce the operational costs of doing business. The application of new digital technologies raises the issue of data security both in the stock market and in the banking market. As part of the work, an analysis of the application of ebanking, mbanking and other banking digital platforms, which contribute to increasing market participation in the banking sector, was carried out. The development of digital applications makes it possible to increase the portfolio of securities. The paper deals with the research of European stock exchanges and banks with the development of digital technology in Serbia. The application of comparative analysis will be used in terms of comparing the results of research on the impact of digital technology and its application in providing better banking and stock exchange services in our country. During the research, conclusions will be drawn, at what speed Serbia is progressing within the segment of digital transformations concerning the countries of the European Union when it comes to business within the financial segment.
