Summary/Abstract: The aspiration of the automotive industry, both in the past and today, is focused on the use of innovative technologies that would enable it to produce better, more inventive and safer cars. If you analyze the historical trends in the automotive industry, you can see that the dominant technologies in its development were the steam engine, internal combustion engines, and electric cars. In recent times, artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming a key figure in the modern automotive industry with the potential to transform the automotive industry like no other technology before it. This is contributed by the behavior of consumers who are showing an increasing interest in vehicles with embedded artificial intelligence applications. This is why an increasing number of manufacturers are intensively working on the application of this technology in car production. Artificial intelligence tools are becoming increasingly available globally to motor vehicle manufacturers, and their incorporation into the processes of production, maintenance and use of products ultimately results in a continuous increase in the automotive artificial intelligence market. This paper provides an overview of six specific cases of the use of artificial intelligence in the automotive industry.
