Summary/Abstract: At the present time, the dominant emphasis is on. interest education, whichfinds its counterpart in Western Europe rather in the framework of adult education.Finally, it also applies here that adults are many times more purposeful than childrenwhen it comes to hobbies. A hobby is something that a person does out of a certaininner need, which is usually the result of long-term social development. Pedagogicaland social workers who implement education in their free time, outside of classesand work, are referred to as free time pedagogues, educators, teners or street walkers.Leisure educators are employed in leisure centers (children‘s and youth centers,interest activity stations). They can also find their application in various non-schoolsocial facilities. Pedagogical workers in school groups, school clubs, youth homes,institutions for institutional and protective education and social care facilities arereferred to as educators. The aim of the article is to present a close connection betweensocial work and leisure pedagogy.
