RECIPROCAL COMPARISON OF THE DISCIPLINES OF SOCIAL WORK AND SOCIAL PEDAGOGY

Summary/Abstract: Despite the many adversities that have accompanied social work and socialpedagogy from their inception to the present day, both disciplines have a place thatthey have occupied in the system of human sciences. They have become an integraland very important part of the sciences, even if they are sometimes not accepted and insome cases confused. Which is a fallacious judgment. The main aim of this professionaltext is to characterize and compare the disciplines of social work and social pedagogyon the basis of professional scientific knowledge. Social work and social pedagogy hasbrought various positives and useful postulates for the society within the frameworkof various problems in the society. It is necessary to point out the humanistic-socialapproach, which is close in nature in both disciplines. Social work and social pedagogyare two different disciplines and are not completely identical.
