Summary/Abstract: In April 2024, the 22nd General Assembly of the Ethnographic Society of Slovakia convened in Martin, featuring a scientific conference on traditional culture and innovations from an ethnological perspective. The event, hosted by the Slovak National Museum, included discussions on research, museological, and terminological issues. Key activities of the Society from 2021 to 2024 were presented, highlighting international collaborations, publication efforts, and the transition to fully electronic journals. The assembly also saw the election of new leadership and the awarding of prizes for outstanding contributions in ethnology. The conference continued with presentations on the impact of innovation in various cultural domains, sparking lively debates and reflections on the preservation of intangible cultural heritage.
