These included psychological and cultural support offered by educationalinstitutions, support programs and the impact of the educational environment on students’ life success, issues relatedto language barriers, and systemic differences in education including teacher empathy and peer support. In theliterature reviewed, the target group studied was Ukrainian students aged 18–28, randomly selected from Krakow,Poznań and Rzeszow, locations chosen due to their importance as academic and refugee support centers. We can seethat not only Ukrainian youth was affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine on a large scale, but Poles were facedwith the challenge of providing comprehensive assistance.
