Summary/Abstract: The XXI century is a period of dynamic and unpredictable changes where finding the right meaningful path for fulfilling the soul needs, can be very hard. There is a false marketing of success and happiness, which hide only an empty dependency of power and hedonism. As a result, people are often losing their identity and Christian values. The fear of the future means questioning personal values and their concordance with the meaning of success as it is presented by social media and marketing campaigns all over the world. In this context, going back to the primary meaning of calling, to living calling and faith, can offer a profound feeling of authenticity and wellbeing, feeling called subjective success in a psychological sense. Living calling is a meaningful experience related to our true Christian self and our personal and social identity and can be a spiritual anchor when fears are conquering our souls. Calling is a protective ay of being in front of emptiness promoted by false needs exposed all around. Connecting the meaningful experiences, the Christian values, social and cultural background, can offer a way of discovering and living a calling. There is response to our need of eternity which medieval authors called capax Dei- people being able to think about God, not asan idea, but as a way of living where the need of being loved transformsthe gift of love, the ultimate calling of the Christian.
