Summary/Abstract: Since 2000, India and Russia have been linked by a strategic partnership, which in 2010 was elevated to the rank of „special and privileged”. The aimof the article is to present what Russian-Indian relations look like sinceFebruary 2022. The analysis includes the fi rst year after the Russian invasionof Ukraine. The author will look at three areas of cooperation: political, military and in the energy sector. The issue of joint plans for the Arctic willalso be discussed. The main research problem will be fi nding the answerto the question: what future awaits the Russian-Indian partnership? Theauthor’s hypothesis assumed that the relations between the partners wouldslowly deteriorate. This will be infl uenced by two factors: 1) India’s effortsto diversify its arms supplies; 2) weakening the potential of the RussianFederation, deterioration of its relations with the West and further closerrelations with China.
