Summary/Abstract: In the face of growing environmental challenges, the hospitality industry is increasingly recognizing the importance of sustainability. This paper explores the role of green skills in enhancing sustainability practices among hotel staff. Green skills encompass a range of knowledge and its practical application aimed at promoting environmental stewardship and resource efficiency. Through an analysis of current practices, the study examines how equipping hotel staff with these skills can lead to improved resource management, operational efficiency, and guest engagement. It highlights the best practices in training programs and the benefits of fostering a culture of sustainability within the workforce. The findings indicate that integrating green skills into hotel operations not only enhances environmental performance but also contributes to cost savings and competitive advantage. Ultimately, this study emphasizes the critical role of trained hotel staff in advancing sustainability initiatives, thereby positioning the hospitality sector for an environmentally responsible future marked by greater resilience.This paper aims to evaluate the significance of green skills in improving sustainable practices within the hotel industry. The research adopts a quantitative approach and employs secondary data sources to provide a comprehensive analysis. The research methods are observation and secondary data collection. The main results of this study are: awareness and understanding of green skills, adoption of sustainability practices, impact of green skills on employee engagement, effectiveness of training, guest perception and business benefits. It was concluded that investing in green skills for hotel staff is not just an environmental responsibility but also a strategic approach to improving efficiency, guest experience, and long-term profitability
