Summary/Abstract: Arabesque is a musical style loved and listened to by large masses in Turkey. Arabesque is a phenomenon that has gained a place in society throughout history as a lifestyle and cultural element. The primary conditions that bring about this phenomenon are rapid urbanization and the social transformation processes it causes. Urban working class, slum settlement, population growth, poverty, deprivation and exclusion constitute some of these transformation processes. The main purpose of the study is to analyze in depth the sociological, psychological, economic and political meanings of graffiti, which is an indicator of arabesque culture in Turkey. In the research, the thematic analysis of arabesque culture through the inscriptions on the city walls was conducted in accordance with the case study design. Within the scope of the study, deep traces of the arabesque culture, which is dominant in the living environment, were found in the graffiti in some neighborhoods in the Seyhan, Yüreğir and Çukurova districts of Adana province. This has shown that the environment we live in and the culture that prevails in that environment have a great impact on people's world of emotions, thoughts and lifestyles.
