URBANO PLANIRANJE U KONTEKSTU URBANE MOBILNOSTI I KLIMATSKIH PROMJENA
URBAN PLANNING IN CONTEXT URBAN MOBILITY AND CLIMATE CHANGE

Summary/Abstract: In todays world, the responsible spatial and urban planning should clearly detect the problems and challenges that represent expressions of global urban complexity. At the same time it should also recognize the individual specifics of each of the urban spaces. Therefore, plans and a series of protocols have been developed that regulate the field of urban planning and in the context of urban mobility at the global (i.e. European) level. Expressing its spatial and worldview commitment to responsible spatial management and energy-ecological transition of the EU and BiH (at all levels of its complex organization) joins the European commitment to sustainable development. In this context, the Sarajevo Canton and the City of Sarajevo have adopted a strategic document - the Plan for Sustainable Urban Mobility. In the era of information technologies, spatial and urban planning is inseparably linked to geoinformation systems and efficient urbo-analytical protocols in order to detect problems, potentials and real needs in urban environments as soon as possible.
