Summary/Abstract: The work treats the position of minor religions, so called minor churches and religious communities. The author starts from a comparation of the position of ethnic and religious mino-rities within the same period and the same geopolitical topos and makes a thesis, which brings up arguments consisting of several empirical indexes that religious minorities, unlike some national and other minorities, are in a worse social position and that they and their members, compared to so called major churches and/or religious communities, as defined by the Law on freedom of religion and legal position of churches and religious rommunities in BiH (Serbian orhodox church, Cotholic church, Islamic community and Jewish community), are discriminated in some segments of social life. Also, the author sociologically precise defined and described criteria according to which a church and/or religious communities can be distinguished and classified into big or small ones or minority ones, and accordingly identified and stated all minority religious subjects in postdayton Bosnia and Herzegovina.
