Summary/Abstract: In this article, previous research findings were cumulated, indicating that Immersive healthcare experiences, Internet of Medical Things-based diagnosis and treatment, and remote medical and healthcare services develop on real-time 3D virtual disease prevention management simulations in virtual clinical environments. Throughout July 2024, a quantitative literature review of the Web of Science, Scopus, and ProQuest databases was performed, with search terms including “immersive healthcare services across virtual diagnostic environments” + “biomedical imaging and wearable medical technologies,” “clinical decision support and metaverse healthcare systems,” and “artificial intelligence medical algorithms.” As research published between 2022 and 2024 was inspected, only 166 articles satisfied the eligibility criteria, and 27 mainly empirical sources were selected. Data visualization tools: Dimensions (bibliometric mapping) and VOSviewer (layout algorithms). Reporting quality assessment tool: PRISMA. Methodological quality assessment tools include: BIBOT, Citationchaser, DistillerSR, JBI SUMARI, PICO Portal, and SWIFT-Active Screener.
