Summary/Abstract: This article will present an overview of selected issues concerning the me-dia’s influence on some issues related to the vocation in the Church. The selected is-sues are not intended to be an exhaustive catalog of all the challenges involved, butto be an attempt to show the complexity of the problem. The method used in the arti-cle is desk research and synthesis in presenting individual issues. The purpose of thisarticle is to raise the issue of social media and artificial intelligence, and the relatedchallenges to the Church in the last decade. This is because electronic and traditionalmedia (the press, radio and television) have already been described many times in theliterature. Social media and artificial intelligence, on the other hand, still need to beelaborated in the context of their proper use in Church activities.
