Summary/Abstract: Bosnia and Herzegovina, is regulated by adopting, in prescribed procedures, appropriate regulations (laws and by-laws). Sustainable and profitable economic development through the so-called "green economy" is a trend in the modern world, to which Bosnia and Herzegovina is striving, all with the aim of creating new values of economic, ecological and social importance. the multi-layered structure of government, established by Annex IV (Constitution) of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, complicates the process of passing adequate and enforceable regulations, which is also reflected in this important area.
