Summary/Abstract: Qualified electronic signatures (QES) provide the same legal validity as ahandwritten signature and in this respect have significant legal force. However, electronic documents, unlike paper documents, can be presented in different file formats, which posessome technical and organizational difficulties. In this article, we will research the possibilityof electronically signing on electronic documents in different file formats in relation to theregulatory framework adopted in the EU.
