Summary/Abstract: The main theme of a large number of world economists is the economic migration of the population and their impact on the gross domestic product. In economic literature there is no universal theory for explaining the causes and consequences, the positive and negative effects of international migration. Instead of universal theory, it is generally accepted theory among researchers in this sphere that there is a series of complex thoughts that deal with this phenomenon. The transfer of money from emigrants from BiH to close people contribute significantly to the increase in consumption, and therefore the living standard, which directly reflects the increase in the gross domestic product per capita.
