Summary/Abstract: The article talks about the work of the Association of Slavic Teacher Societies in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, founded a hundred years ago. The introduction describes the political position of Slovenes and Croats in the area which were granted to Italy by peace treaty. This is followed by a description of the activities of the association, founded in February 1920 in Trieste, which also published various publications. These were: the pedagogical newspaper Učiteljski list between 1920 and 1926, the Slovene youth newspaper Novi rod between 1921 and 1926, the Croatian youth newspaper Naša nada between 1921 and 1922, and the record book Ročni zapisnik for 1922 and 1923. The article also describes the educational courses organised by the association, the very successful choir, self-help and the section within the association responsible for writing teaching books.
