Summary/Abstract: On the basis of her experience with working at the Slovenian School Museum, the author studied the influence of the style of conducting a lesson on classroom communication. Her starting point was the museum handwriting lesson attended by future teachers. The author finds that a museum school lesson can also be understood as a method of preparation for teaching, since it offers participants a first-hand experience in the authoritative style of conducting lessons and on the basis of this a discussion about views, values and understanding of the teaching process.
