Summary/Abstract: In this article, I will introduce the Emperor’s Hymn as a main topic of an educational program within the Homo sun – Ivan Hribar exhibition, which the City Museum of Ljubljana organized at the end of 1997. The learning material is based on the curriculum of the Austrian Volksschule from the late 19th century. In the second part of the article I explain the course of the lesson and my personal experience in the role of Miss Teacher. That program was one of the first examples of a staged museum educational workshop in Slovenia and over the past 20 years in Slovenian school museum, such lessons have become a phenomenon among the educational offerings of Slovenian museums.
