Summary/Abstract: The study is part of the result of my field research, during which I discovered and recorded games, counting/reading games, folk historical poems and holiday greetings that were still very active in the 1950s–1970s. While counting/reading games were usually passed down orally (older children passed them on to younger children, siblings to siblings), folk historical poems and holiday greetings can now also be found in written form. From a dialectal point of view, it is interesting to note that it was not always possible to catch the Ö-Ző dialect in the act. During my collection, I tried to record even where the informants recited the counting/reading game in dialect, while signs of regional dialect could no longer be found in the written legacy. In the Hungarian-populated settlements of Central Banat, these calculators/readers have long been forgotten, festive greetings are not used either, the fast-paced lifestyle does not provide an opportunity to recite them, but in this way, by writing them down, the future generation gets a chance to present to them, even if only for a moment, the beauty of the past era. The study contains two chapters: in the first chapter, I analyzed the calculators/reader rhymes, and the second chapter summarizes the folk historical poems and the folk holiday greetings, which I analyzed using the method successfully used by Gábor Virág. The local historical aspects of this collection are also undeniable, as they enrich the legacy that the people of Banat could have left behind.
