Summary/Abstract: The 5G mobile network should be “smarter”, more efficient, and up to a hundred times faster than the current 4G network. Its implementation would allow connecting various devices to the network, which would enable the development of the Internet of things, robotics, self-driving cars and many other possibilities. With a rise in the popularity of 5G network, there are also those who are against the implementation of this technology. They are warning on insufficient research of this new technology and emphasize the potential threats to life of all exposed to radiation emitted by the 5G network. So, the aim of this paper is to explore the importance, but also security aspects of 5G networks and negative impacts on the population.
