Summary/Abstract: This review deals with the guidelines for the design of public spaces associated with the future subway stations of the Grand Paris Express network, elaborated by a multidisciplinary team led by the architecture and urban design agency TVK. Although the focus of the volume is on public spaces in the Paris metropolitan area, the principles and recommendations contained in the book have universal value and maintain their relevance even in contexts of different urban culture. All the recommendations are aimed at making public spaces comfortable for the entire population, being respectful of the environment and enhancing the urban context.
