Summary/Abstract: This paper explores the possibility of managing medical statistics as a way to reduce costs in the healthcare system of Republic of North Macedonia. By applying advanced statistical methods, it is possible to identify the primary sources of financial inefficiencies, such as unnecessary medical interventions, excessive medication use, and inefficient hospital processes. Analyzing healthcare data enables a deeper understanding of expenditure trends, facilitating the development of policies for more effective resource management. Special emphasis is placed on predicting future financial needs through regression analysis and machine learning, as well as improving transparency and budget allocation within the healthcare sector. Additionally, analyzing data from public health programs allows for better-defined preventive medicine strategies, ultimately leading to significant long-term cost reductions for chronic disease treatment. This paper concludes that integrating biostatistical methods into healthcare management will not only result in financial savings but will also enhance the overall efficiency of the healthcare system. By utilizing data-driven evidence, healthcare institutions can make more informed decisions, contributing to sustainability and improved healthcare quality for the population.
