The Sense of Meaning and Value of Life in Young People. Psychopedagogical Aspects

Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the issue of young people’s sense of meaning in life, discussing how meaning of life is understood – its structure, function and subjective character. Some issues related to the value system and valuation processes are presented, considering attention the philosophical background of such topics. The article touches on developmental and educational aspects of shaping the sense of meaning in young people’s lives. Examples of research results related to the values declared by young people as important in determining the meaning of their own lives are given.
