Summary/Abstract: This study was initiated by the desire to understand to what extent the“virtual adventure” of man in the “cyberspace” is also a form of unconscious search for religion, starting from the very mechanism of functioning of the virtual world, namely by connecting or linking people in a network. Based on this premise, by analysing several scholarly works as well as by investigating the actual behaviour encountered in today’s society, we will try to draw out the consequences of the confluence of digitalization and human behaviour and its effects not only on national security but also on geo-political stability at the global level.
