Summary/Abstract: The whole three-part article discusses memoirs of the communists activists as an important source about the „class war” from the 1905–1907 Revolution to the outbreak of World War II. Its third part describes „everyday” activities during the interwar period, like hanging banners and posters, „technique” (printing and distribution of illegal literature) or struggle with agent provocateurs. Other topics discussed here are strikes, imprisonment and emigration to USSR. No matter that the discussed texts were supposed to play role in the propaganda, they allow to see various events from the history of Łódź (e.g. strikes and demonstrations) „under the microscope” by presenting the participants’ emotions as well as (sometimes) their individual outlook and characters.
