Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to verify the validity and reliability of the Self-efficacy assessment scale (SSE) on badminton players. The study included 77 badminton players (N=77), participants of the 5th International Tournament „Sarajevo Open 2017“. The average age of participants is M=33.69 (SD=10.67). The analysis of the main components indicates that the scale is one-dimensional. The main component explains 45.03% of self-efficacy variance within badminton players. The reliability of the instrument was determined by the coefficient of internal reliability (α=0.92), while the average correlation between the particles is r=0.40. Criterion validity was verified based on correlation with mesurements of motivation for sport and locus of control. Based on the results we can conclude that the scale has a satisfactory factor structure and high reliability as expected from the previous research.
