Summary/Abstract: The 2024 legislative elections in Georgia were marked by serious irregularities, highlighting violations of the right to vote guaranteed by the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). The introduction of electronic voting compromised the confidentiality of votes and caused comprehension difficulties. Electoral manipulation practices, such as voter intimidation and the use of administrative resources to influence results, were widely observed. The Georgian legislative framework has gaps, particularly regarding citizens’ access to judicial remedies and the independence of judicial bodies. These violations have seriously undermined the transparency and legitimacy of the elections.
