Summary/Abstract: This paper is dealing with the issue of insurance is agriculture. Scetching some general ideas, based on case studies from all over the world, having a general importance, with lessons to be learned which can be fruitful for the immediate future for the domain where insurance and agricultural production meets. We only tackle the exact characteristics of state intervention in the market of agrarian insurance, however, the conclusions are highlighting its importance.
