Summary/Abstract: The paper explores the theme of transformational leadership in education, highlighting the significance of this leadership style in enhancing the motivation and professional performance of educators, as well as improving the school climate. The study aimed to emphasize the positive impact of transformational leadership on student performance, as well as the ways in which educational leaders can inspire change and innovation within educational institutions. In this context, the scientific literature underscores the benefits of an approach that promotes values such as collaboration, trust, and continuous development, in contrast to traditional leadership models. Additionally, the paper addresses the essential characteristics of this leadership style, such as idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration of the needs of students and teachers, as well as how these elements are reflected within the educational context. The study demonstrates that, despite the challenges of implementing this model in rigid educational systems, transformational leadership can bring about significant changes, contributing to a more effective and motivating educational environment.
