Summary/Abstract: A research of emotions becomes synonymous with an investigation of man, his behavior and the way he relates to society. Their multidisciplinary approach reveals, beyond dogmatic tensions, the interdependence between emotions and physiological, behavioral or experiential response systems. A creative site, emotions facilitate the meeting of internal and external stimuli, their interaction and the generation of reactions that are communicated socially, independently of the individual's will. Seen as material things, biologically organized, emotions are also recognized as psychobiological facts, as ideas with an evaluative role in shaping the decision. Society, a scaffolding in the validation of emotions, involves an internalization of them, placing them on an axis of power and social structure. The beauty of emotions comes precisely from this vulnerability that it reveals about the human being, especially since, as we mentioned before, avoiding emotions means missing the possibility of an encounter with the truth. Human fragility is extracted from this possibility of being hurt, from this weakness to allow life (through its objects and beings, obviously loaded with value) to destabilize us, being aware that these cracks are only opportunities to embrace the human in us. The social background, beliefs and all these ways of thinking color the emotions - not always correct, rational or justifiable – but, certainly, educable and placed in harmony with the circumstances in which they manifest.
