Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the work of a choreographer, as well as a ballet dancer on an artistic image, and the importance of performance technique of classical dance in this creative process. A work of art, a composition in choreographic art is conveyed to the viewer through the performing mastery of ballet dancers. This is one of the main criteria when creating a choreographic work, since it is impossible to create a significant work without professional mastery. The perfect technique of the artist is a guide for the choreographer in solving his/her tasks and super-tasks, helping to convey and embody his/her ideas as fully as possible. The emphasis is on the analysis of capabilities of the performing technique of ballet dancers in creating an artistic image, as well as various points of view on this process. Knowledge of the specifics and capabilities of the performing technique allows the choreographer and dancer to more fully and creatively approach the creation of an artistic image. At the same time, it is important to develop muscle memory, plasticity, lightness and expressiveness.
