Summary/Abstract: This recollection of memories presents a personal description of the diplomaticrelationship between China and Hungary in the 1970s. The author actively participated in the development of these diplomatic relations, thus he has firsthand expericences from this period, when there were various different attitudesamong the Central and Eastern European Socialist countries, and even amongthe various Hungarian politians, how to relate to the Chinese reforms.
