Summary/Abstract: As the Catholic press of the Second Polish Republic was a major segment of the publishing market, often targeting female audiences, this article aims to analyse the coverage of women’s organisations in the socio-cultural monthly ,,Rodzina Polska” (1927–1939), published by the Missionary Congregation of Pallottine Fathers in Warsaw. A major column in the periodical was Dział kobiecy (Ladies’ Section), which featured women’s social movements and organisations that served to promote national and religious values. These brought together ladies of similar interests who would deliver speeches on current social and educational issues during official meetings and events. The monthly provided coverage of the background and operations of, inter alia, the International Council of Women, the All-Slavic Women’s Association, the National Women’s Organisation, the Catholic Union of Polish Women, and the Association of Housewives, presenting their structure, statutory objectives and programme. As the article is only an introduction to the research problem, it does not address all the issues covered by the magazine. The author employs the methods of media content, case study, analysis and description and thematic content analysis.
